It is with much excitement and fear that I can announce that the podcast has been invited to participate in the 2016 Wild Goose Festival! Wild Goose is a wonderful event. Click the logo above for more information about it.

Along with such great shows as Homebrewed Christianity, The Liturgists Podcast, Doug Pagitt, and our network's very own Christian Feminist Podcast, I will be hosting a live show in front of an audience!

Please do two things: first, consider coming to the festival (you can use the code GooseCast2016 for a discount on the tickets page (click the logo above).

Second, this is a massive responsibility and I'd love to gather some ideas about what you'd like to see me cover, who you'd like me to interview, etc. Please either respond here, or contact the show via here to give me some ideas!

My topic suggestion for this event—hipness. Yes, this is a mischievous suggestion, but I'm serious. A little mischief is good for us, and I think you'd do well with the topic.

This is actually a great suggestion! Thanks so much for making it. I feel like there is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction against the "hipster" that exploring the notion of hipness might be just what we need! Thanks!

Thanks for the consideration. And don't forget that a reaction against hipsterdom is, in many cases, just another case of hipper-than-thou. "I was sneering at hipsters before it was cool."
